Syllabus:
MNTS Curriculum
We are continuing with "Minnesota Tamil School (MNTS)" syllabus for all levels except for Arumbu nilai.
You can check their website here http://www.mntamilschool.org/mnts-syllabus-overview/
This syllabus is based on 4 basic language skills: Reading, Writing, Speaking & Listening.
Each Nilai will have 3 Terms with 8 lessons each.
MNTS prescribed text books and homework books are followed. Books will be printed for each term and distributed at the beginning of the term.
Please note that MNTS is planning on a paperless Learning Management System (LMS) this year and informed us to utilize last year books if needed.
ATA Curriculum
We are following American Tamil Academy for course content for Arumbu Nilai. You can check their website here https://www.americantamilacademy.org/
Each Nilai consists of 20 classes of 2.5 hours each per week with 3 Term Tests and requires 10-15 minutes of studying/homework every day.
ATA prescribed text books and homework books are followed.
There will be an "Annual Day" event at the end of the school year if the pandemic situation improves.
